Photographer's Notes: Snowy ÞingvellirÞingvellir is just plain pretty. But it is not easy to get to during the winter. It is only through the grace of God did we manage to get to the park this particular day. Large mini-van with rear-wheel drive with snow and ice from the time we got north of Reykjavík until we got back down off the mountain as we hit the south coast. But oh was the trip worth it.Technical Notes: I have even less notes about this image than most of my film images. I know this was February. I know that it was print film. Beyond that? Not even a clue as to camera, lens, or anything else. |
